WB traffic 28-Feb-08

A busy morning this morning at Woodbourne.

Both Air West Coast Dornier Do228 ZK-VIR and Vincent Aviation F206 ZK-VAF performed approach and overshoots VIR operating as ZK-VIR on the WN-WB-WN route and VAF as VAL21 NS-WB-NS.
VIR eventually landed for lunch

While VAF was noted later in the afternoon operating NS-WN also as VAL21

Other visitors were Lifeflight 01 ZK-LFT

And the big surprise of the morning Dassult Falcon 900EX N127SF registered to AVN Air of Baltimore

March 3-13 'Skytrain 08' based out of Woodbourne

March 16 'Ohakea open day' - I will be heading up to this staying in Wellington from 14th-17th

April 4-5 'Wellington visit' - thanks to grabaseat

NZCH visit 11-Feb-08

I visited NZCH on Monday 11-Feb to see the final Eva Air A330 charter of the season which was operated by A330-202 B-16305

Other notable movements while I was there was the final RAAF 707 A20-624

 

Pacific Blue flight DJ62 from Melbourne was operated by Virgin Blue aircraft VH-VOX which wears Pacific Blue Livery

And USAF C17 02-1104 which headed south to Antartica

Also present was Emirates A340-541 A6-ERC operating EK412 from DXB & SYD

Traffic 21/22-Feb-08

Catalina NZ4017 (ZK-PBY) operated through Omaka on Thursday 21-Feb-08 with several flights over Blenheim before continuing south to Wigram in Christchurch.  Photos can be found on two highly recommended websites Gavin Conroy's own, or the Wings over New Zealand Message Board.

ZK-NSS Lifeflight 02 was in during the morning
ZK-LFT Lifeflight 01 was in during the evening
Air National operated BHE-AKL-BHE - this is unusual as aircraft usually swap in either WLG or CHC and the J32 isn't normally scheduled on BHE-AKL
