Credit and huge congratulations must go to Al Marshall who has put many hours into restoring the two bristol hercules engines to a state where they were able to be restarted.
Today only the port engine was bought back to life due to time and light constraints. Over 50 people were present to witness the engine roar back into life, for the first time in over 20 years.
More details on this project can be found here including photos and a detailed blog from Al on what has been and will continue to occur.
