Time for another video post, this time rounding up some of the recent news from Air New Zealand, Qantas, Scoot and LAN

Will be sad to see the A340s go. But, out with the old and in with the new. I was sad when the three holers left too :-( We had a few visits from Singapore DC-10s back in the day at NZCH. I miss seeing cool planes, everything now is so, Airbusy, and slopey and droopy. Strong lines, big engines and angry faces, thats what I miss about the 70s and 80s aircraft. Although I do support the advancement of technology and the greener footprint of the new aircraft. Our new 787-9s are still passable in my eye :-) but then, as a Kiwi, I'm allowed to be bias. :-) Good round up. Thanks

Got to agree with you there on the LAN A340s, have fond memories of AKL-SCL on CC-CQC but definitely think the 787 is the way of the future
