As noted yesterday, Boeing Stearman A75N1 ZK-BWR and DeHavilland DH82A Tiger Moth ZK-BMY were noted departing Omaka and heading south - this was for an air to air photo shoot with Gavin Conroy, and pics can be seen on his blog HERE

The Stearman ZK-BWR was again noted doing circuits this morning at Omaka.

A bit of a sad day at Omaka as the field bid farewell to Pat Donovan and his Lockheed Electra NC14999. Pat is returning home to the USA flying his Lockheed the whole way. It departed Marlborough shortly before lunch in formation was Nanchang ZK-JQS. Photos from the departure can be seen on Gavin's blog HERE

Also noted around lunch time were the Chequers doing a small display for the cadets on the ATC National Aviation course, that has been held here.

Also departing Marlborough to the north during the afternoon was locally owned Piper PA-28-180 ZK-SNE.
